1. Degaussing range

One of the key indicators to measure the deactivator device of the AM anti-theft system is the effective degaussing range of the deactivator device, which is usually expressed as the reliable degaussing distance between the AM soft tag and the surface of the deactivator device. From the convenience of actual use, this degaussing range should cover the entire working surface of the deactivator device, and can take into account the various orientations of the soft label.

For some deactivator, you can see that the degaussing distance is relatively large based on the degaussing reminder signal. However, the AM soft tag has not been completely degaussed and is still active. The second degaussing must be carried out at a height closer to the deactivator.

2. Degaussing speed

It is usually measured by the number of reliable demagnetization per minute. The degaussing speed is an index to test the length of time that the deactivator device is continuously charged to saturation and completely discharged. It determines the continuous degaussing ability of the deactivator device of the AM anti-theft system. The degaussing speed is slow, which affects the cashier's cashing efficiency. Some deactivator seem to be faster, but they cannot reliably degauss and require repeated degaussing, which actually affects the efficiency of the cashier's work.

3.Anti-internal theft function

The important value-added function of the degaussing device of the AM anti-theft system is the "anti-internal theft function". This kind of degaussing device has the characteristic of being integrated with the mainstream bar code laser scanner in the market. During the normal cash register operation, the cashier usually must ensure that the laser scanner correctly scans the bar code of the product, and at the same time or afterwards perform the degaussing operation of the anti-theft soft label. Some cheating cashiers and employees often use demagnetization to kill the anti-theft soft tags without scanning the bar code of the product to achieve the purpose of stealing the product.

The deactivator device with anti-theft function, it will start the degaussing action only after receiving the degaussing trigger signal output by the bar code laser scanner which has been scanned correctly. Any cashier's attempt to "miss to scan" the bar code of the product to try to demagnetize the anti-theft system will fail.

4.Need to know the environmental protection deactivator

Any electronic products have electromagnetic radiation, and deactivator have relatively large electromagnetic radiation. Beyond a certain distance, its radiation is within a safe range. To reduce electromagnetic radiation as much as possible, the "green" use of deactivator is often ignored by most businesses.
